The Mount Carmel Society is a Roman Catholic organization formed over 100 years ago by Italian immigrants new to Berkeley Heights.

From those beginnings it has continued to this day.  The Society consists of residents of Berkeley Heights and neighboring towns.   

Members of The Mount Carmel Society preserve and celebrate the traditions of this historical organization.  They volunteer their time to host, plan and support a number of activities and events for all ages. Most notably, the Our Lady of Mount Carmel Feast and Fireworks every July.
